Amuse Stamp Class

This past weekend I went to my local stamp store called Rubberstamp Fantasy and I took an Amuse Class. I just love thse stamps because even though they are so simple and are pretty and fun.

These cards are ALL GIRL......

My instructor was Michelle and she has a blog that is great and good ideas.

My creations

I got motivated a couple of days and I forced myself to use a stamp set and new technique and this is what I came up with.

Here I tried a technique in the new Technique Junkie Newletter

Here I tried a Gate Fold Card and I used my scor pal. Easier than I thought and it was fun to do.

Here I was just playing with my Copic Markers.
This is my favorite because I used the Magic Pencil Technique and then used the tools that I got in March Scrapgoods kit.
This is used a Stampin Up set that I have and never used it before and this is what I created. I can't remember the stamp set name.
I don't know why this scanned in black and white but it is a Hero Arts stamp.

Direct To Rubber Class

Sorry I have not blogged in a bit but just wasn't motivated. I am finally getting some motivation back.

I attend a Direct To Rubber (DTR) class at my local stamp store. It was very fun and very creative on all fronts. We used Marvy markers and then you just start to color you stamp that way you want and then you mist with water. Now something that I learned is use glossy paper and boy that makes all the difference. Now I still don't have the 3 colors of markers down. Just have not gotten a hang of the which way the light falls concept. Practice makes Practice. Anyways you can also some stipple brusheswith the markers and it gives you a different effect. It was fun but now I have to get some Marvey Markers well maybe or maybe not. Here are my creations:
