My latest aquistions..........

Here are some stamps I purchased from The Stamping Studio. They are cling stamps and I love those. Everything is cut out and already ready to put in the acrylic blocks.

Hero Arts Class

Back to my local store (RubberStamp Fantasy) and I took a class from an awesome teacher. She is so organized.

My creations: I did 4 cards but we were slated to do 6 cards but you know how time sneaks up on you. Anyways -

Card 1

This was using sparkling paper and different flower and leaf punches. So simple but has an impact.

Cards 2 - Cupcakes all the rage and now here is a cupcake card.

Card 3 - Very bright card.

Card 4 - Birds

Card 5 - Making your own pattern paper. Here we used the Tim Holtz Distress Ink, watercolor paper, and water to create different color combinations.

Card 6 - Orchids

This class was so fun!!!!

Gotta Love Joann's Coupon

I used a couple of coupons from Joanns/ Yeah!!! I am trying to figure out how I can store my twinkling h2o so I got this

Copic Markers

I was just browsing around on SplitcoastStampers and came across a thread called Essential Copic Colours. I was reading some of the posts and they had a link to another blog. I went to the blog called Insprire Me and she had a great section on Copic Markers. I downloaded some of the files that she had and read them. I learned about Copic markers. Now I have to investigate the airbrush that they were talking about. I am a gadget junkie.!!!!

I belong to the Copic Markers club from Gina K and I am getting a pretty good stash. It helps when you do it monthly.

Just playing around......

I just to decided to use my stamp set from Stamping Up to get out of the rut I was in. I actually took my time and it took me a couple of hours to do this card because I had to mask some things. I tried to match the colors from the background paper.

Faux Mosaics Class

I went to my local Rubberstamp store and I took a class called Faux Mosaics. We used shrink plastic (like shrinky dinks) and heated the plastic and used alcohol inks and distressed inks. My teacher was Melissa Baldwin and her store is called The Stamping Studio.

Here are two of the cards I made:
It was done with alchohol inks and distress inks. It was very fun so now I have to get some shrink plastic. I loved the colors we used. We used the clear shrink plastic .

Here is a close up

Card #2 -

We used the white shrink plastic and alcholol inks. I really love the colors.

This is my first time using shrink plastic and how easy can you get it done. Very fun.
