My blog friends from Ladies, Ink have a challenge with this month to create 3 holiday cards.  I was inspired by the current challenge from Flourished Timeless Tuesday.  

 

I am trying to practice to use the sponges.  Practice, practice!

Challenge - Sweet Sketch Wednesday

I have never done a card with so many colors. I used chalks to color the flowers.  The stamp set from Unity Stamp Company.

Unity Addicted Wednesday

The challenge this week was  use use one of the big Unity sentiments as the focal point of a pink, green, and brown card.

I tried out my sewing skills.  I am rusty but it came out nice.

3-D Challenge - Ladies, Ink

The challenge for my fellow bloggers on Ladies Ink was to do a 3-d challenge.  Completely out of my comfort zone, because my projects never turn out the way I thought.   I found this on SCS - Cammie’s Triangle Treat Box.

I like this one.

Let the Sunshine

I joined the Scrapbooking and Crafting Friends ning.  They had an atc swap from let the sunshine.   It really didn't turn out the way I thought it would.

Gina K Sketch Challenge - stvsc20

I was on the stamptv community and this is the sketch right now.
I was trying to think out of the box and use colors that I would not use with the image. I would not think about using this pattern paper normally.

I decided to do the Gina K sketch challenge.

Orange you Happy

I was checking the challenges and I decided to do the challenge from Sketch Saturday.  I was playing with my Fun with Glitter class material from Gina K and this is what I came up with.

Sew Simple

I decided I was going to tackle the Tri Shutter card found on SCS.  Now the first time I did this it came out perfectly but all the other times I tried I couldn't get the folds right and I followed the directions. (I promise!!) I wonder if this is a one hit wonder.

Oceans 11 #3 Challenge - Dry Embossing

The challenge for Ocean's 11 is Dry Embossing.

I used the Easter egg template and the faux cross-stitching stenciling from Dreamweavers.

It is that time if the week.  Unity Addicts Wednesday.

The challenge this week was from Sherry.  Use something that is not normally for card-making or altered item.  Like yarn, foil, something from a gift wrapped package, something recycled.

Well I decided to combine this challenge with the SplitCoasst Stamper Challege - TLC212 -Ribbon Frame.
