This card was made using embellishment and NO Stamps.  I found some burlap and some tiles that had some words on it.  When I was making this card it reminded me about the beach scene

Summertime

Summertime is here.  Hot and humid.  I am used to the dry heat but I really don’t like the humidity.  On top of that we have had isolated thunder shows every day for a couple of weeks.  Oh can you say Code Orange – Air Quality.

Owl Family

The theme form Paper Maniac this week is of course Father’s Day. Here is my card that I made using my Unity stamps from the Hodge Podge of Happiness kit. I just love the eyes of the owl.  I am just really enjoying paper piecing .  It is getting easier.

Blooming

Here is a card I made using on of my unity kits of the month.  I cut out the ladybugs to add some interest.  I think I should have used some flower soft for the grass for some texture. I did some paper piecing for the flowers.

Here is a card that I made using BLine Design Stamps.  I love the screen door and we added screen as well.  I think I am going to add a know from Tim Holtz collection.

Rolling On…….

It is Friday and you know what that means.  Unity’s Friends with Flair.  This creation is from Unity – KOTM for May. 
I have some skates at my parent’s house and I remember my friend and I were going to be skating stars.   We even got matching blouses and they were the type of blouses that look like angel wings.  I really like skating but I have not done it in a bit.  I may have to get my skates. 

I was playing with the editing on the pictures using Windows Live Writer.  That is cool!
