Memory Box Rocks!

I was attending a class at my favorite stamp store.  The instructor is the creator of Memory Box, Dave.  I LOVE the papers.  The classes were for colored pencils and watercolor pencils and the different techniques.  I have not finished my creations because it always take me a long time, when I am done I will share them.

 

Now I also finished the sketch challenge from Ladies,Ink Blog group.   This sketch comes from Michelle.

Brick-and-mortar stores have make-and-takes, but that is pretty impossible in virtual land, so we will be offering the next best thing – Take ‘N’ Makes! Paper Maniac will be offering a line of cardmaking kits that will be available in two options. 

First  Almost Done, will include all the pre-cut pieces and embellishments to put together eight cards. These will be high-quality, well-designed cards with lots of layers, mats, patterned paper, cardstock, dry embossing, layers shaped by nesties, ribbons, bling and what have you. Complete directions will be provided for assembly. The only part open to interpretation will be the focal point and the sentiment(s).
Second Make It Your Own and will include the same materials as in the Almost Done kit, but nothing will be precut. In other words, you get cardstock, patterned paper, envelopes and all the embellies, but you get to decide how to put it together.

Look what a found.....

I was going thru my old stamps and I found this stamp and the paper.  I don't remember this paper at all but I have a lot of it and it is just right.  I found all the embellishments as well.  Don't you just love finding stuff.

I was playing around with the GinaK StampTv kit again.  Yes I know but I really like this kit.  I just got the new flower soft for fall as well.  Yes it is in fall colors warm and rich.

Sunflowers in Fall and Sketch

I am combining a sketch from the Ladies, Ink Blog Group - Cathleen and the GinaK StampTv Kit. This is the autumn kit and I love fall. I just love the warm colors.

On a different note:

I am trying to figure out blogger and windows live writer. For some reason they do not behave the same. I am finding the editing in windows live writer is easier than blogger.

Two Cards.......

This weekend my godfather passed. He was just like my second father.  It is very hard when you live in a different state.  Here is the card I made for him son.

For some reason I was not compelled to make a tradition card.  Instead I made this card. 

I then received an email from an old co-worker and learned my friends father passed as well.  Here is my card.
