Paper Piecing

I really like paper piecing now that I got my scissors sharp.  I love the Hero Arts butterflies because they lend themselves to the paper piecing.

Here is a closeup of the butterfly. 

I love the hero arts stamps because they have the stamped image on the backside of the stamp.  It makes it easier to stamp Backside of the Stamp Stamp

Butterflies…..

I made this card using some free stuff from Archivers.  I believe they were called Petal-a-loo but don’t quote me because I didn’t write it down.

I really like the flowers.  Texture and more texture.

I just love the paper pack from Kaisercraft – Peachy Keen.  The challenge for the Glitterbee  blog group is using teal, orange, peach.

I was not sure about the colors but I like it.

Lemonade Please……….

I have gotten this stamp from Impression Obsession a bit ago.  I love the Basic Grey – Origins paper.  I was using my Copic Kit for January markers to color the lemons.  I am trying to get the shading down. 

I adhered  the felt ribbon from Paper Maniac by using my sewing machine.

Here is a close-up of the glass.  The umbrella was paper pieced .  I really like paper piecing when you have sharp scissors.

Finally…..

I am finally trying to get caught up.  Wow that is hard but one step at a time.
Here is a card from the Technique Junkie One and One swap from February.  The technique is the glass embossing .

Can you believe it was so snowing this morning and now the sun is shining.  Gotta Love it!

Love Tattered Rose

I pulled out my Tim Holtz distresses powder and ink.  I love the texture. It makes me think of fine sand.

I used the tattered rose and I tried the scor tape.  I love that you can tear it and emboss on it as well.

Peachy Keen

Love the Peachy Keen collection from KaiserCraft.  You got paper and as well the punch out of die cuts.  Wow the paper looks texture. 

I love the rub ons and the ribbon and no stamp. You can make a great card just using the paper pack. I colored my ribbon using copic markers and then basted the ribbon to give the ruffles. I love the color combination of the paper.

Flowers

I love the new Devonshire from Kaiser Craft.  I love all the colors and flowers.  I was not in the mood to stamp so I made a card using the paper and the flowers. 

This is from the Devonshire Collection from Kaiser Craft.  I got some rub on and was trying to showing positive statements.
Sorry I have not been blogging lately, just wasn’t feel good but I am made a card so I am getting better.
