Something New to try....

I finally finished my water color card. I used my markers and water to create this card.

My Dahila fold card. Just playing around.

I just purchased some new adhesive and that stuff really sticks. I am trying to find an adhesive that actual works for me. I use tombow now and it works on and on and my Xyron refills are so darn expensive so I wanted to find another option. We will see which I like. You would think all I am doing to sticking paper so then just get an adhesive but it is not that easy. LOL!!!. We have adhesive for everything . Amazing to me.

Stamp Club and Opinion

I just got my Stampin Up catalog and started my wish list. LOL!!! I had my Stamp Club this weekend and my two cards. They are very pretty and we used the apple stamp as a Shamrock. Clever!!!. I loved both stamp sets. Very nice.

I think I am just to much a closet perfection because I made the cards and they are nice but all I can do it see the flaws. I hate that. How they heck do you not do that. Some times I just won't stamp because I know there will be something wrong so what is the point of going thru all the effort when ....... I must really work on that.

Well I was working on this card and I just can't figure out what to do it. What do you think???

Another week and I am going to blog more frequently. Ok today I am going to try to blog at least 3 days. Maybe that will work. I think the fact that my room is messy and not organized it just has me discouraged instead of flipping the script and saying I have a room to card making and it is my responsibility to get it together. Something for me to ponder.

New Goodies

First I said I would post more frequently but I have not for a bit. I am trying to get better. I will keep trying.

Well I purchased some of the stamps of the months from Great Impressions. I just love the all the stamps.

Here are my creations.

I used my copic markers on the yellow card and the teddy bear.

I did the Magic Pencil technique on the purple card.

A nice piece of mail

I received a little card book from a blogger buddy named Meg. It is a book with one side with envelopes and the other side was an array of cards to send. They were all color cordinated and so pretty.

Thanks Meg. It was great a surprise. !!

Sweet and Sassy

Oh I love these cards. I just took a class at my local Archivers and I took a class called Sweet and Sassy, I love it. I didn't buy the store out imagine that but here are my cards. It is using the new line of Hero Arts and the name escapes me.

This card spins open. We decorated the envelopes as well. I would say check out the new Hero Arts. Of course they are clear now but they are nice.

Altering

I put my hat on to alter something. I still don't have a knack of it but I tried.

I made a card using my bazzill bags. I was in a swap a couple of years and we had to create a bag of paper and embellishments using a certain color. I can't remember the color right now but here is the outcome.

Playing with Birthday Stamp

I was playing with one of my stamps and this is what I came up with. I aslo learned how to add frames using photoshop.

Twinkling H2O

I was reading some of the messages from my Technique Junkies yahoo site and there was a member who had did a little chart for her twinkling h20's. What an idea, so I did it. It took some time but I did it.

I am Behind again

Boy I had all good intentions but I am behind again. Now I am trying to get caught up. At least I worked out today and I am going to try to do my blog everyday like I said I would. I feel off the wagon and now I am getting back on.

Been Busy

Boy it has been a busy couple of days.

Let me see yesterday I went to the gym and met with a personal trainer. You know they give you a free one. I did it YEAH!!!!! Mind you I have not worked out since the stroke and the dr is always saying I have to exercise so I did a bit.

Anyway.......

Last evening I went to the class at Rubberstamp Fantasy Store in Marietta, Ga. The class involved using Impression Obsessions stamps and boy do I have a wish list. One of the stamps that I purchased was.

Now it was a 4 hour class and I made 9 cards. Here are my creations. I think I like the blue one and the autumn one as my favorite.
