Unity All Week Day 5

 

I am back to my Christmas cards again. This time I used the cottages from Unity Stamps. They are so cute . I wanted to  use winter scene so I used the winter cottage. One of the cards I used glossy paper and the other one I used regular paper. I think I like the regular paper because the other streaked.

I subscribed to Technique Junkies . Great techniques . I love it. My project was the Dimensional Tag Box from June 2005, but I took it a step further and instead of buying tags I decided to score them. I used one of the KOTM from Unity Stamps. I have so much paper .

Unity All Week - Day 3

DAY 3 

Hump Day hope you are having a great day. Well I decided I need to start doing my Christmas cards. I know that I am late but I am going to still try to do them. I decided to use a sketch from Split Coast Stamps sketch challenge. This is sketch challenge SC128. I wanted to use the reindeer stamps it looks so regal and stately. I think pulled out my twinkling h2o and colored the reindeer. I love twinkling H2o. They are so addictive.

Unity Challenge Wednesday

 

This was my week to pick the challenge.  I really like monochromatic cards.  I think it is just think it is interesting how people use shades of a color.

I was in a gray mood so this is what I came up with.

Unity All Week - Day 2

 

DAY 2

Welcome to day 2 of the unity  Today I decided I would use the the KOTM from August. I decided to use my postal scissors since I wanted to mimic a stamp. I can’t remember where I saw this card and I found it so interesting to use a blank sheet of stamp shapes and then tear one of the stamps away.  I cased it was my twist. I just think it is such a unique way to use the stamp sheet.

I colored the image with my prism colored pencils.

Unity All Week - DAY 1

 

This is my week to feature Unity Stamps . I love Unity stamps I love the handles . 

Day 1

My monthly stamp club challenge was to make an ATC that contains acetate, button, and ribbon. I decided I would use the deer stamp  from the November KOTM.  He is so cute!.

This is what I came out with. I think it it came out nice.

 

I used the following:

Stazon for the deer
Buttons
Twist Ties
Eyelets

 

Very simple, easy.

Unity Challenge Wednesday

This weeks challenge was was from Jessy, the challenge was to CASE a Unity Design Team member that is the VSN coordinated from SplitCoast Stampers.

Please follow these guidelines for CASEing cards, as outlined at SCS:  
1. Change 2 or more things on the card. It could be a color combo, embellishments, backgrounds, or even the main image could be different but similar because you don't own the exact image. List the changes in your description.

With all that said my Unity Design Team Member that I am CASEING is Jennifer Buck.  I cased the card from November 24, 2008.

My Card-

Here is what I changed -

1. changed the color combination
2. change the size of the main image
   case card - snowman
   mine - snowflake is smaller and lower
3. change embellishments
        case card - ribbon, bling
        mine - no ribbon, brads

Sorry I have not been very active.   The reason I have not been on a lot is because I have been working on my card room.  Still have to get curtains and other stuff but I have the big table that I wanted.  I got it from IKEA.  I really like that store.

 

I got a great deal of adhesive from Stamping Scrappin.  The adhesives are from GlueArt.

Wednesday - Unity Challenge

This challenge was inspired by Lisa and her love of plates.

These plates are gorgeous.

My card was inspired by the white and red plate. I used multiple embossing powders. I was proud of the result.

Since October is Breast Cancer Month. Our challenge is from Cyndi . The challenge was My HOPE challenge:

O…Put some ribbon ON your card (pink ribbon theme here, get it?)

E…Embellish with something that starts with an “m” for Mammogram - I used micro beads.

I decided to stamp the butterfly on acetate using a couple of colors from stazon.

I used my stash of supplies!!! I am so excited about that.
